Participating in online contests can be rewarding if we are lucky. Winner(s) will be selected on the basis of lucky draw. I participated in one such contest back in 2006, for World cup football winner prediction, conducted by a television channel. It was an online contest. I had two entries and won a Walkman (Cassette player) and a Pocket FM radio. Such prizes, though small, are really encouraging and adds fun. So look out for such contests and start participating.

In 2012, I attended The Hindu Friday Review November Fest, which was a musical concert conducted in association with Bose India. Wind Song, the Jugalbandi between Bombay Jayashri and Ronu Majumdar was organized as part of the event. A contest was arranged for the audience. I won a merchandise from Bose, which was a T Shirt.
